Gal Autumn Trends - Liz Lisa & personal coordinates.

Was looking through October's issue of Popsister just now (backdated i know. OTL) and noticed that they compiled a handy list of this Fall's trends.

Military, Leopard prints, Bowler hat (??), Fur, (actually, Knits too, but it wasn't there) and neutral earthy colours, for the most part. Evidently Liz Lisa's picked up this trend too, though i'm glad they still feature their flower prints heavily.

Loving the brown X flower print X chiffon combinations.

That poncho is simply adorable.

Still rockin' the florals there. The little touches of fur on the hood and the boots are really well incorporated.

THOSE THIGH HIGH BOOTS. WANT.

Obsession with Liz Lisa aside, i really like the colours this season, they leave space for heaps of improvisation.

Came up with a quick coordinate with some of the colours.

Denim Overalls - A store in Eastpoint, close to This Fashion (SGD 50-ish)
Belt - Far East Plaza (SGD 5)
Necklace - Far East Plaza (SGD 5)
Shoes (Sabots/clogs) - Far East Plaza (SGD 40)

A few other pieces i might use to keep my coordinates relevant to the trends:

Knitted grey beanie with ribbon - Dotti (AUD 19)

- Random -
It looked like it was going to rain, so i switched out of the earlier coordinate into a (very subdued) Cocolulu style.

No photos of make today cause i woke up too late to do any and i didn't want my falsies falling off mid-lecture. OTL.

Anyway, personally very glad Nordic prints aren't featured too heavily/dying out. I look terrible in Nordic print, and will never attempt it again. Ever. OTL.

See exhibit A :

IMO Uggs are okay when it comes to cold weather even though they can be ugly-ass.

I guess it's all very subjective when it comes to trends. Honestly? I'll be sticking to the spring trends for now cause it's spring in Melbourne.

Also, tip to other gyaru who have the same body type as me, i.e. not skinny, Nordic prints are a risky attempt. They tend to make people look larger than they really are.

Can't say i'm too fond of fur too, especially with the fox-tail-as-keychain thing that's going around. No problems if it's faux fur, but i love animals too much to use real fur. Even my leather jacket isn't real leather.

Thinking of doing a "What were they thinking?!" section for certain pieces that are especially eyeburn, but idk if it would be too presumptuous, as a not-very-seasoned gyaru. ahwell.
